We are looking for a results focussed Technical Recruiter to join our HR team. The Technical Recruiter’s responsibilities include all aspects of hiring, including defining roles for technical positions in consultation with the hiring manager, sourcing, screening and hiring technical specialists to fill various roles in Engineering. You will network with potential candidates and promote the Company’s brand, reduce time-to-hire and focus on hiring the right candidates

 

The Technical Recruiter should have a good working knowledge of technology, technical roles and technical skills as well as knowledge of the recruitment process

Responsibilities:

In consultation with the hiring managers understand requirements and create effective recruitment strategies.

Develop and publish accurate job descriptions to attract a pool of highly qualified candidates.

Use effective recruiting practices to attract passive and active candidates.

Source, screen, interview and evaluate candidates. Arrange telephone, video or in-person interviews as required for shortlisted candidates.

Establish rapport with all partners, whether candidates, hiring managers, interviewers or team members.

Ensure candidates receive timely, thoughtful and engaging messaging throughout the hiring process.

Design and track key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment practices. Make recommendations for improvement by leveraging data from post interview and post hire feedback.

Promote the company’s culture and values through social media.

Compose job offers and complete relevant documentation.

Perform background and reference checks.

 

Requirements:

 

A Bachelor’s of Science or Human Resources degree

4 years of experience in recruitment with at least 2 years in filling Tech positions

Fair understanding of programming languages 

Working knowledge of application tracking systems 

Work experience with a technology startup will be an added advantage
